Re: Integration issues with Stereo Head-Mounted Display

You said that one way is by the use of the viewpoint node. I saw in Candy that the HMDViewpoint node is used for HMDs. So I thought that you can use directly the node in the x3d file of the virtual scene. But I don't know exactly how.
Tell me please if my assumption is correct and how to do it by an example.

Hello,

Thank you very much for the information.
Could you please post a simple example (or part of an example) to see how exactly is done.

Best regards,
Raluca

Thanks.
I activated the Advance button in CMake, but there were no teem options. But I resolve the problem by linking MedX3D against teem library directly in Visual Studio.

Re: Phantom Omni with H3D - Could not init

Hello!

I have also a problem: I can not use H3DLoad with Omni device. I tested with Falcon and it works, then I set in the H3DLoad settings the AnyPhantom Device or Any Device and in the first case the H3DLoad could not run (no information in the command window) and in the second case 'Could not init AnyDevice' error in the command window.
I have the H3DAPI 2.1.1 installed.
Could you help me with this problem?

Thanks. I did it. But now I have a problem with MedX3D. I built but when I wanted to build Forssim (which requires MedX3D with teem support) I realized that I don't know how to do it. Could you tell me please how to build it with teem support? When I run cMake there are no options for teem library.

Hello,

In the installation guide from the Documentation area.
Now I hould like also to compile H3DAPI (because at the university I don't have admnistrator reights). Could you tell me where I could find all the .lib files of the dependecies that I need? Or I have to compile first every librarie by myself?

Which installation guide? The guide that resides in the docs folder is very obsolete. I'm sorry for not removing it. VHTK is compiled and installed the same was as H3D. Use CMake and set all paths and then compile.

I installed the H3D API-2.1.1.-win32 version, but I have problems with the instructions for the installation of the VHTK 1.9.
From the VHTK installation guide:
-point no.4: what is 3DTouch? does it mean the path to the haptic device driver?
-point no.5: I didn't find the VC7 setup file located in VHTK/build/win32/vc7/. there are not such things there
Help me please.
