Hi,

From the announcement of VHTK 1.5 ( http://www.h3dapi.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=20 ), I believe it now includes support for time-varying data. However, I could not find the explanation of how it works in the documentation.

Is there any example demonstrating this new feature? Otherwise, can you please point me to the documentation or at least to the related source code?

Thanks.

This feature is very new and not at all described in the manual. The full description of the technology is described in detail in an upcoming issue of the IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics (TVCG), but it is already available as a preprint through this DOI.

VHTK comes with the example x3d/setup_animation_sphere.x3d, which shows haptic interaction with simple time-varying data. The data used in that example are computer generated.
