Need example on chainmail deformer node Hi,
I want to try chainmail Deformer to see whether it serves my purpose of drilling into an object realtime. If anyone can send me an example it would be great. I have downloaded and integrated the code from site. It compiles without any errors. I am using H3DAPI 2.1. Thanks, Aparna |

Re: Need example on chainmail deformer node Did you search the forum for some example x3d code?
Looking at the c++ code it looks like you could modify the deformable shape x3d example to use the chainmail deformable nodes instead. I have no idea if the chainmail will actually work in H3DAPI 2.1 however since it is quite old (before h3dapi 1.5 i think). So even if it compiles it might not work properly. |

Re: Need example on chainmail deformer node yes I searched in the forum for X3D example on chainmail. But there was only cpp code available.
yes as u said,I modified the deformable shape example and replaced with chainmaildeformer node |

Re: Need example on chainmail deformer node So did it work after you modified the deformable shape example?

Re: Need example on chainmail deformer node I am also trying the Chainmail ( i`m currently trying to make it work, any ).
Did anyone make it run under H3D API v2.1 ? This one works better then the one available inside H3D API (my deformable object has a pretty big geometry, around 4000 vertexes ) ? Tnx, Adrian Later edit: Well, I was able to make it work but it is slower than the one inside H3D API. |
