Re: VHTK in H3DAPI 2.1.1 VHTK in the H3DAPI install is simply there to be used with H3DViewer as an example of plugins, and short VHTK examples. If you want more examples you need to do what you did.

VHTK in H3DAPI 2.1.1 I've not used VHTK or H3DAPI for quite a while but had reason to upgrade the software to the latest version.
I installed H3DAPI 2.1.1 for Windows XP and found that VHTK was also included, however all but one (dichloroethane) VHTK demo was missing. Also the python scripts for clip planes etc are no longer included and the requirement to explicitly load the VHTK shared library redundant. In the end I downloaded VHTK 1.9 and modified the demos to work with the H3DAPI installation. I've tried looking for information regarding these changes but to no avail. Basically VHTK in the H3DAPI install is incomplete. |
